Aged 29 and from West Bay, Dorset, Dave started fishing at the tender age of 5 and joined the West Bay Sea Angling Club when he was 14, going on to win pretty much every trophy there was.

It was a natural progression to start fishing opens back in 2004, and living so close to Chesil beach gave Dave a great opportunity to fish the local Galeforce League with considerable success.

In 2006 Dave was selected for the England Shore Squad giving him valuable experience, and in 2007 won the NFSA Wyvern open at Slapton Sands, Devon resulting in qualification for the Guernsey finals, which he went on to win - one of Dave's proudest moments. 2008 resulted in a recall to the England team to fish at Samphire Hoe where England won team gold with Dave contributing two day wins. more
